Being a mom is tough… caring for this tiny miracle, and still finding time for self-care can be a juggling act. What a great blessing it is for those who have help from friends and family. Tasia talked to me about some of these things… maybe her words will help you to find balance amidst the beautiful chaos.

What's in a Name? Plenty!

Let there be SLEEP! (pleeeeease)

Taisa says she loves to watch Kaiser sleep… and aren’t all new moms excited when that newborn baby is sleeping?!? She also told me that her favorite way to help her sweet boy go to sleep at night is to sing “Jesus loves the little children” to him. Oh what a sweet hymn to fall asleep to!

If you could tell another “about to be a first-time mom” anything, what would it be?

Take it a day at a time, ask for help and do what you feel is best for your baby. Finding balance between caring for myself and caring for my baby. He’s dependent on me so at times I find myself neglecting my own needs to make sure he’s good. Having help from my family helps me to get my “me time” and have some much needed self-care as a new mom. ~Tasia
